This was my anthem because I graduated in the year 2000. I love how Daniel Johns changes his vocals a bit for the live version of their songs. Anthem for the year 2000 here, and Freak from the Conan O'Brien show sticks in my memory more than the album versions do for some reason. I'm 42 years old now, and I still rock out to Silverchair!

Electric weapons are regularly used to secretly remote-control bionic brain implants that are put in people/humans including children and other fauna against their will and without them knowing it to secretly remote-control them without them knowing it, to imitate their bodys functions while deceiving them and others about it. oh man i have been looking high and low for this live version- easily the best sounding live version of this amazing song ever. listen on a full speaker system to really hear the epic guitar tone and how huge the bass and drums sound (esp that gong drum during the verses) this is a true time capsule of this band at their peak. sounds so damn good, hard to believe you could see actual music like this on TV

it's a problem when exceptionally talented kids are surrounded by rigid, opportunistic adults. I honestly think this is what affected Daniel in the worst way. These kids were putting on a damn good show, they shouldn't have been put on the spot like this, ever.

That guitar tone though. You can hear the sound of the wind coming from the speakers just before the riff kicks in. This was their best live TV performance in the US. They sound absolutely perfect here, even better than the live shows during that same tour. Sick!!!
